Wow , that’s powerful. The heart has many qualities that can enhance your life in so many ways. Have a go at practicing a simple 2min mindful meditation/breathing exercise.
Sitting comfortably, place one hand on your chest, the other on your stomach. Become aware of your heart in the centre of your chest, notice how your body moves with your breath. Just breath normally, gently, inhale, exhale. Don’t worry if your mind wanders onto other things, just gently bring you attention back to your heart , and sit peacefully there for a few mins. Gently pat your chest with your hand, or pat your stomach, whatever feels natural to you. Introduce a affirmation, such as ” you are relaxed”, “you a loved”, “you are cared for”. Choose something positive to say to yourself, either out load or quietly to yourself.
Have a go at practicing this 2 min mindful practice daily, or whenever you feel like it. This is a nice, simple, nurturing practice that you deserve to give to yourself. Your gift from you to you.
